A quick look at my #lightingsetup for one of the shots, we did four variations! #camera on a #tripod, #softbox firing into the ceiling, #snoot on a stand up high for a #spotlight effect. You can't see the #speed light behind me giving a #keylight to the subject and separating him from the darker background.

#shooting an #jazz #album cover at #konkstudios. One of the tricky things about #recordingstudios is balancing the low available #lights with the #flash to gove a realistic feel to the shot. A #tripod is essential in this kind environment. #longexposure combined with #flash is the key.
